This section provides information on Edge Browser configuration for your Windows Modern device. Edge Browser configuration enables administrators to configure Edge browser settings for Windows Modern device.

General

Feature	Description
Address Bar Editing Enabled	Enables users to update the URL in the address bar. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 98 and later.
Autofill Address Enabled	Enable this option to enable auto complete feature in the address bar. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.
Allow Deleting Browser History	Enable this property to enable user to delete browsing and download history. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.
Block Third Party Cookies	Enable this option to block all third party cookies in Microsoft Edge browser. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.
Browser Guest Mode Enabled	Enable this option to enable guest mode in Microsoft Edge browser. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.
Clear Browser Data on Exit	Enable this option to delete the browsing data when the browser closes. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 78 and later.
Configure Do Not Track	Enable this option to send Do Not Track requests to websites that request tracking information. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.
Favourites Bar Enabled	Enable this option to show the favorites bar in Microsoft Edge browser. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.

Manage Extensions

Extension Install Allow List	Configure the extension allowed to install for Microsoft Edge browser. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.

Manage URL

Feature	Description
Allow Tracking for URLs	Configure a list of URL patterns to exclude from tracking prevention. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.
URL Block List	Configure the URLs that the user cannot access. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later. Note: Use `*` to block all extensions.
URL Allow List	Configure the URLs allowed to access in Microsoft Edge browser. Note: Supports Microsoft Edge version 77 and later.

Note: Allow list takes precedence in case in Block list has the same URL.

Note: Edge Browser configuration takes precedence over Web Content Filter configuration.
