Reinstalling a Revoked Profile
Before you begin
About this task
You can use this feature in the
following situations:
- Reinstate a profile after temporary removal: If you revoked a profile due to a temporary issue or for maintenance purposes, you can reinstall it once the issue is resolved.
- Recover from accidental revocation: If you revoked a profile by accident, you can reinstall it without needing to create a new profile. This saves time and ensures consistency with the original configuration.
- Reinforce compliance: If a device was non-compliant and you revoked its profile as a corrective step, you can reinstall it once the device meets compliance requirements again.
Procedure
To reinstall a revoked profile onto your devices:
- From the main menu, select Profiles. The Profiles view opens.
- Select the revoked profile to open its profile information panel.
- From the Profile Actions list, select Assign.
- In the Assign dialog box, select the devices, device groups or filters to which you want to reassign the profile. For more information, see Assigning a Profile.

Select Assign to complete the process.
Tip: In the Profiles view, you can also select More beside the profile and choose Assign from the dropdown list.

Reapplying a Revoked Profile to an Individual Device
About this task
Important: This method only applies if you
revoked the profile directly from the device information panel.
Procedure
To reinstall a profile on an individual device:
- From the main menu, select Devices.
- Select the device name to open its device information panel.
- In the Configurations section, select More next to the revoked profile, then select Install Profile.
