Reinstalling a Revoked Profile

Before you begin

You must have Manage Profiles permission to assign profiles. See General Permissions for more information.

About this task

Use the Profiles view to assign a revoked profile to devices or device groups that meet the assignment criteria.

Procedure

To reinstall a revoked profile onto your devices:
  1. From the main menu, select Profiles. The Profiles view opens.
  2. Select the revoked profile to open its profile information panel.
  3. From the Profile Actions list, select Assign.
  4. In the Assign dialog box, select the devices, device groups or filters to which you want to reassign the profile. For more information, see Assigning a Profile.
  5. Select Assign to complete the process.
    Tip: In the profiles view, you can also select More beside the profile and choose Assign from the dropdown list.

Results

You have successfully reassigned a revoked profile onto your device or device groups.

Reapplying a Revoked Profile to an Individual Device

About this task

Use the Configurations tab in the device information panel to manually reinstall a revoked profile on a specific device.
Important: This method only applies only if you revoked the profile directly from the device information panel.

Procedure

To reinstall a profile on an individual device:
  1. From the main menu, select Devices.
  2. Select the device name to open its device information panel.
  3. In the Configurations section, select More next to the revoked profile, then select Install Profile.

Results

You have successfully reinstalled the profile and reapplied the configurations to the selected device.
