Viewing Profile Logs

About this task

Use the profile and server log views in SOTI MobiControl to check activity related to profile assignments, modifications, and system-level operations. You can view logs profile logs at both the profile and server level.
You can use profile logs to see how profiles are applied and managed across devices. Reviewing these logs helps you:
  • Confirm that the profile configurations are successfully delivered.
  • Troubleshoot failed profile installations by reviewing error messages and system responses.
  • Track changes made to a profile, such as updates, reassignments, or revocations.
  • Check administrator actions for auditing and compliance purposes.

View Profile Logs

This section explains how to view logs associated with a specific profile, including changes and deployment status.

Procedure

  1. Log into the SOTI MobiControl console.
  2. From the main menu, select Profiles.
  3. In the profile view, select a Profile name. Profile history
  4. In the Profile Information panel, select the Logs tab.
  5. Double-click a log in the Message column. A pop-up displays the log message contents. Profile logs
    Note: Only logs within the selected date range are displayed.

View Server Profile Logs

  1. Log into the SOTI MobiControl console.
  2. From the main menu, select Users and Permissions.
  3. Select the role, group, or user you want to view, then select Logs.
