Resetting Exchange Server Access

About this task

Suppose you used the Block Exchange Access or the Allow Exchange Access device action to override a compliance policy's directives. In that case, you can use the Reset Exchange Access device action to reapply the compliance policy.

To reset device Exchange Access to follow its assigned compliance policies:


  1. In the Devices view, select the devices whose Exchange access you want to reset and, in the Device Actions bar, select More > Reset Exchange Access.
  2. If applicable, select the warning message at the bottom of the dialog box to see why SOTI MobiControl cannot reset the Exchange access on some selected devices.
  3. Select Reset Exchange Access.


Exchange access is now controlled by the compliance policies assigned to the selected devices.
