Restrict DDNS

The Directory profile configuration allows you to configure directory servers on your devices. The Restrict DDNS setting within the Directory profile configuration allows you to specify which network interface to use when updating the Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS).

Click the Click here to add new ddns option and enter the DDNS using the BSD name of the network interface.

Tip: The BSD name is the same as the Device field. Run networksetup -listallhardwarereports to return the BSD names.
