Desktop & Screen Saver

Use the Desktop & Screen Saver profile configuration to set the desktop wallpaper and screen saver options.

Desktop


Allow User to Change Wallpaper	Select this option to enable the user to change the desktop wallpaper setting.
Wallpaper Path	Enter the path to the wallpaper.

Screen Saver


Screen Saver Inactivity Time	Select the number of minutes that must elapse before the device goes into screen saver mode. Note: Requires macOS 10.11 or later.
Require Password	Select this option to require the user to enter a password to exit the device from screen saver mode. Note: Requires macOS 10.13 or later. macOS device profile only.
Password Inactivity Time	Select the amount of time that must elapse before the user must enter a password to exit the device from screen saver mode. Note: Requires macOS 10.13 or later. macOS device profile only.
Screen Saver Module Path	Enter the path to the screen saver module. Note: Requires macOS 10.11 or later.
