Creating an Incident Via Email

You can create a new incident in SOTI Assist by sending an email to the inbound email address that has been configured by the SOTI Assist administrator. Once the email is received by SOTI Assist, you will receive a notification email confirming receipt of the email and creation of the incident. The notification email will also contain the incident identifier.

You can reply to the notification email to provide updates to the incident or to reply to questions from help desk technicians.
