Managing Automated Device Enrollment

Before you begin

You must have already created a new Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) add devices rule that consists of the new enrollment settings.

If you have many devices to reassign, you can import a .csv file containing your device's serial numbers. The first column of the .csv file must be the serial number and the second column must be the device type: iPad or iPhone.

To manage your Automated Device Enrollment account:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Global Settings.
  2. Select the Apple tab from the panel on the left. The following options are available:
    • App Store License Management
    • Apple Push Notification Service
    • Apple Root Certificate
    • Automated Device Enrollment
    • PRK Encryption Certificate
  3. Choose Apple > Automated Device Enrollment. The Automated Device Enrollment panel opens which displays a list of accounts bound to Apple Business Manager.
  4. Select the icon besides the account name to view more options.

    Edit Edit account name or renew your Automated Device Enrollment account status.
    Sync Devices Synchronize devices with an Apple Automated Device Enrollment account.
    Assign Devices Manage the devices assigned to your Automated Device Enrollment account.
    Delete Delete your Automated Device Enrollment account from SOTI MobiControl.
    Set Default Policy Select the iOS, macOS and tvOS Enrollment Policy that you want to set as the Default Policy for the Automated Device Enrollment account.
    Test Test the Automated Device Enrollment account connection with SOTI MobiControl.
