Deleting a Compliance Policy

About this task

Delete a compliance policy to remove it from the SOTI MobiControl system. Once deleted, it can no longer be used to check a device's compliance.

Warning: Do not delete the default compliance policies.

To delete a compliance policy:

Procedure

In the Compliance Policies view, click on a compliance policy's name to open its Compliance Policy Information panel and click the Delete button from the Compliance Policies Actions list.
You can also click > Delete beside the compliance policy.
Click Delete.

Results

The compliance policy is no longer active or available in SOTI MobiControl. Devices that were flagged non-compliant due to this policy will become compliant (assuming no other policy flagged them as non-compliant) and any non-compliance actions that were active will be revoked.
