Enroll in Additional Channels

Before you begin

Note: You should have received enrollment details from your SOTI Snap administrator, likely via email. If not, contact your SOTI Snap administrator before you begin.

About this task

You may need to add another channel to your SOTI Snap agent. A channel is any source from whom you receive SOTI Snap built apps. This can happen if your main company employs a third-party or managed service provider (MSP) to provide additional services and that MSP also uses SOTI Snap to create custom apps.

Although you can access apps from different channels from within the same SOTI Snap agent, those apps are entirely separate and do not exchange data with each other.

To add another organization's apps to your current SOTI Snap agent:

Procedure

  1. Have your enrollment details nearby.
  2. Open the SOTI Snap agent on your device and tap More > Manage Channels.
  3. Tap Add to open the SOTI Snap authentication screen.
  4. Depending on how your SOTI Snap administrator chose to configure enrollment, you will need to either enter your email address, enter an enrollment ID, or scan a QR code.
  5. Optional: Set up a PIN to increase security for the SOTI Snap agent.

Results

You are now enrolled in another SOTI Snap environment. Swipe horizontally in the agent to switch between companies.
