Subject Alternative Names

Use the Subject Alternative Names dialog box to add subject alternative names for the certificate template. For details, see Adding Certificates.

Alternative Name Type Select a subject alternative name type from the list. The options are:
  • DNS Name
  • URL Name
  • Registered ID Name
  • User Principal Name
  • RFC822 Name
Alternative Name Value Enter a value for the subject alternative name, or click the gear icon in the field to select a macro that will be used to generate the value.
