Setting Timeout for Device Location

About this task

You can define a timeout for SOTI MobiControl to use when it tries to locate a device.

To define the timeout duration:

Procedure

  1. Select Global Settings from the main menu.
  2. From the Settings tree on the left, select Console Settings > Locate Timeout.
  3. In the Locate Timeout page that opens (see Locate Timeout), type the required duration (in seconds) in the Set Timeout Duration field.
    Note: Fractional numbers entered in the previous SOTI MobiControl versions are rounded up or down to the closest integer/whole number.
  4. Click Save.
