Creating a Virtual Device Group

Procedure

To create a root virtual device group:
  1. At the bottom of the device group tree, click New Group and select New Root Virtual Group.
  2. Enter a name for the new virtual group in the Virtual Group Name field and click Create.
  3. Drag and drop devices into your new virtual group.
To create a nested virtual device group:
  1. Right-click on the device group where you want to nest a new virtual group.
    You can nest virtual groups under regular, virtual, and filter groups.
  2. Select Add Virtual Group.
  3. Enter a name for the new virtual group in the Virtual Group Name field and click Create.
  4. Drag and drop devices into your new virtual group.
