Android Plus (OEM) Profile Configurations
Important: These profile configurations are designed for Android devices enrolled with OEM-specific device agents. See Android Enterprise Profile Configurations or Samsung KNOX Profile Configurations for other Android Plus profile configurations.
Always make sure that you select the correct device type from the Type dropdown list in the Add Profile dialog box when you create new profiles. Available profile configurations differ depending on the selected type.
Security
| Configuration | Description |

| Antivirus Protection | Enables antivirus protection on your devices. |
| Authentication | Enforces administrator and user password policies. |
| Certificates | Distributes digital certificates to your devices. |
| File Encryption | Activates encryption to protect files stored on your devices and, where applicable, their SD cards. |
| KNOX Container | Establishes a Samsung Knox Workspace Container on Samsung devices that support the feature. Valid Samsung KNOX Workspace licenses are required. |
| Out of Contact | Determines an automatic action that occurs when a device has not connected to the deployment server in a specified amount of time. |
