Emailing a Packages List

Before you begin

Create an email profile (see Creating/Editing SMTP Server Connections).

About this task

Email a copy of the list of packages visible in the Packages view in a .csv format.
Important: SOTI MobiControl generates content in a .csv file based on the current layout of the Packages view. Consider rearranging the order of the columns for a customized output.

The .csv file does not include package data for those families that you have unselected.

Procedure

  1. In the Packages view, select Export Package List from the upper right corner, then select Email CSV from the dropdown.
  2. Select an email profile from the Send From dropdown.
  3. Enter the names of the recipients in the Send To field. Separate email addresses with semi-colons(;).
  4. [Optional] Select CC or BCC to fill those fields.
  5. Compose a subject and body for your email.
  6. Select Send.

Results

You have successfully emailed a .csv file to the specified recipient(s).
