Windows Modern | Microsoft Store Apps
Use this Windows Modern application type to send Windows applications via the Microsoft Store.
Selecting the App Type
Use the Select Apps dialog box when adding an applications to your app
policy. You do this when:
App Selection
| App Source | Select the Microsoft Store Apps option. |
| Region | Select a region for the Microsoft Store. Note: Verify that you are sourcing the
application from the right region as they may only be
available in specific regions. |
| Search | Type the name of the application in the search field to search for it in the Microsoft Store. Select your application from the search results to add it to your apps list. |
Application Information
Review information such as the display name, ID and source of the application.
Advanced Configurations
Select Configure when adding or editing an application in your app policy to open the Advanced Configurations dialog box, where you can further configure app settings.
| Required for system | Once chosen, the app installs for the system (all users).
Under this option, you see the following toggle:

| Required for the MDM enrollment user | Once chosen, the app installs only for the user who enrolls
the device into SOTI MobiControl. If selected,
it displays the following
option:

| Optional for install | Once chosen, this app becomes accessible by admin users of the device to install through the App Catalog. |
