Enabling SOTI MobiControl Console Users With LDAP

Note: If you want to use LDAP for authentication on other SOTI MobiControl endpoints, see Verifying SOTI MobiControl Endpoints.

To use an LDAP group for SOTI MobiControl console authentication:

Procedure

  1. Select Global Settings from the main menu.
  2. From the Settings tree on the left, select Console Settings > Authentication Options to display the Authentication Options page (see Authentication Options).
  3. Under Authentication Type, select MobiControl.
  4. Turn on the MobiControl Directories toggle.
  5. Select the option button by the required LDAP group on the Directories list.
  6. Click Save.

Results

You can now manage users and user groups in your LDAP group under the Security tab.
