Assigning a Data Collection Policy

About this task

Assign a data collection policy to ensure specific device groups and individual devices collect data as configured in the policy.

To assign a data collection policy to devices:

Procedure

  1. If you created the policy earlier and are returning to assign it:
    1. Select Policies > Data Collection.
    2. Right-click a policy's name and select Assign. The Assign window opens.
  2. Select the device groups or individual devices you want to apply the data collection policy.
  3. Select Assign.

Results

The data collection policy applies to your device selection.
