Automated Device Enrollment

Use the Automated Device Enrollment tab to manage ADE accounts in your SOTI MobiControl instance while:

General


Require Enrollment During Setup Assistant	Automatically enrolls the device in SOTI MobiControl. For LDAP-based enrollment, the device user must enter their credentials when running the Setup Assistant.
Wait until device is configured by MDM before device can be used (iOS only)	Forces the device activation wizard (iOS 9.3 and later) to wait until the MDM has fully configured the device before allowing its use.
Supervise Device	Enables over-the-air device supervision after the device activates.
Prevent Un-enrollment	Prevents the device user from removing the MDM profile from the device.

Setup Assistant Options for iOS and macOS both

Device users do not see unselected options during device setup. Hidden options retain their most private settings.

Setup Assistant Options for macOS only


iCloud Diagnostics	Displays the iCloud Analytics pane in the Setup Assistant for the device user to choose whether to send diagnostic iCloud data to Apple.
File Vault	Displays the FileVault pane in the Setup Assistant for the device user to enable the automatic encryption of files.
Registration	Displays the Registration pane in the Setup Assistant for the device user to fill out a registration form and send it to Apple.
