Verifying the Domain in Microsoft Entra ID

Before you begin

Confirm that you meet the requirements for Enrolling Windows Modern with Microsoft Entra Join (On-prem).

About this task

Collect the Microsoft Entra ID domain information required by your domain administrator.

Procedure

From Microsoft Entra ID, select Custom Domain Names > Add Custom Domain > Enter the Domain.
Copy the following values for your domain Administrator:
- Record type
- Alias or host name
- Destination or points to address
- TTL
