Disabling the Syslog Server in SOTI MobiControl

About this task

To temporarily disable SOTI MobiControl from sending event log messages to a syslog server:

Procedure

In the legacy console, go to the All Platforms tab and choose the Servers tab.
Under Global Settings, click the wrench icon beside Syslog Configuration.
Click Enable Syslog Logging to deactivate the dialog box.
Click OK to save the newly deactivated setting.

Results

SOTI MobiControl won't send log messages to the syslog server while this option is disabled. If you re-enable it later, log messages that were generated in the interim will not be sent to the syslog server, only log messages beginning when it was re-enabled.
