Assigning Custom Attribute Values to a Device Group

About this task

To assign a custom attribute value to a device group:

Procedure

Beside a device group, click More > Group Details to open its Group Information panel.
On the Group Details tab, click the pencil icon for the Custom Attributes section to enable editing.
Enter a value for the custom attribute you want to assign to this device group.
Click Save to apply the new custom attribute value.

Results

Values for custom attributes are visible in the Group Information panel. They are also visible in the Device Information panel of each device in the group (unless the value inherited from a group is overriden at the device level). You can edit the values at any point, following the same steps.
