Android Plus Profile Configurations
Configurations are added to profiles to push device settings down to devices. Use the tables below to see the configurations that are available on this platform.
Profile configurations for Android devices leveraging Android's native work features and Samsung KNOX devices are contained with the Android Plus platform. Though they share many of the same profile configurations, there are some important differences. Make sure you are using the right profile configuration for your device.
Security
| Configuration | Description |

| Antivirus Protection | Enables antivirus protection on your devices. |
| Authentication | Enforces administrator and user password policies. |
| Certificates | Distributes digital certificates to your devices. |
| File Encryption | Activates encryption to protect files stored on your devices and, where applicable, their SD cards. |
| KNOX Container | Establishes a Samsung Knox Workspace Container on Samsung devices that support the feature. Valid Samsung KNOX Workspace licenses are required. |
| Out of Contact | Determines an automatic action that occurs when a device has not connected to the deployment server in a specified amount of time. |

| Phone Calls | Places restrictions on incoming or outgoing calls. |

Important: The NitroDesk TouchDown profile configuration has been deprecated. Current users should remove it from their devices.
