Locating Devices

This section provides information about using the SOTI MobiControl console to locate devices both indoors and outdoors. Indoor location and Outdoor location are two distinct features that are performed using separate procedures. The Indoor Location feature uses Wi-Fi positioning to show you where your devices are within a specified location and where they have been over a given period. Outdoor location services uses a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular data to locate devices.
