AMA Teams Up with SOTI to Propose An Unparalleled Fleet Management Service to its Customers

With a dramatic improvement in integration and upgrade time, AMA was able to integrate 3,000 devices via a single platform and expand into several new markets

Paris, FRANCE – September 21, 2022 – French company AMA has reduced the time it takes to update its mobile devices from one year to just two weeks. Thanks to SOTI MobiControl, AMA can now manage its devices from a single platform in a simple and secure way.

AMA needed a secure, on-premise solution to support multiple types of mobile devices, while integrating existing systems and adding new functionality as needed. The company had to manage the integration and upgrades of all the devices. This was very costly and time-consuming, taking in some cases up to a year. In addition, AMA has about 3,000 devices to consolidate into one centralized platform.

AMA has already integrated several hundred mobile devices with the SOTI solution, and is satisfied with the solution. The partnership continues and, in the coming months, AMA will integrate its 3,000 devices which will be accessible via a single platform. SOTI MobiControl already allows AMA to manage many types of mobile devices, regardless of their operating system and in a secure manner. In addition, AMA has full visibility over its devices and its customers benefit from new services for security and device updates. SOTI's expertise in managing other types of technology has also enabled AMA to effectively manage connected glasses in its operations.

While device and system updates could take up to a year at AMA, it now takes only two weeks thanks to SOTI. The easier and faster deployment and upgrades of the devices have enabled AMA to expand into other countries.

On top of this, AMA will propose a fleet management service to its customers, allowing them to manage Wi-Fi settings, geolocate devices, control and update third-party application installations, manage profiles and so on. The easy-to-integrate SOTI MobiControl platform will empower AMA’s customers to effortlessly control, manage and secure their fleet of smartphones, tablets and smart glasses from one central user-friendly interface.

Guillaume Campion, VP of Products and Partnerships at AMA, declares: "SOTI has really helped us grow our business. We are no longer limited by time-consuming system and device integration. Not only has SOTI helped us grow and save time and money, but the personalized technical support has really supported our team and added tremendous value to our business. And from now on, with our fleet management service, we will be able to give our customers, full visibility and control over their business-critical mobile devices."

The SOTI solution was successfully deployed on a range of AMA-managed devices. Following this successful trial, the company is looking to increase its use of SOTI solutions, including a program to migrate connected glasses to be managed via the SOTI solution.

Faki Saadi, Director of Sales, France, Belgium and Luxembourg at SOTI, comments: "The partnership we have with AMA demonstrates the breadth and value that SOTI offers to businesses worldwide. SOTI MobiControl has enabled AMA not only to strengthen its equipment and systems management, but also to expand its business into other markets. We are also excited to work with AMA on the next phase of their solution deployment."
