VIPs visit SOTI

VIPs have visited SOTI HQ in Mississauga as well as our Research and Innovation Lab in Waterloo to learn more about how we are attracting Canadian tech talent, and continue to stay true to our innovation roots. Dignitaries of all levels of Government are taking notice that SOTI has doubled its revenue and headcount in the past two years, and is on track to double its research and development headcount in the near future.


We've been honoured with some great awards in the first half of the year and now, we're happy to add 5-Star Rating in the 2016 Partner Program Guide from The Channel Company. SOTI's Altitude Partner Program was introduced in 2014 and since then we've worked closely with our partners to educate, support and elevate them proving to increase their growth and success. We hope to make it a three-peat in 2017!

In addition, we’ve been added to CRN's 2016 Mobility 100: 25 Coolest Mobile Security And Data Protection Vendors!

From Partners to Product, SOTI is being recognized for outstanding achievement. At the end of May, SOTI President & CEO Carl Rodrigues attended the CATAAlliance Innovation Leadership & Social Give Back Gala to accept the Outstanding Product Achievement Award. Innovation is in our DNA and we're extremely proud to be acknowledged by such a highly recognized organization.

SOTI in the News

In this recent Mississauga News article, Carl Rodrigues was interviewed and asked to share his views on the technical talent "Brain Drain". Carl shares insights on what the Canadian government can do to help stem the transfer of talent state-side.

Nassar Hussain, SOTI Managing Director, Europe and Africa, discusses the changing retail mobility landscape and the challenges that stagnant in-store retail technology poses when consumer technology is leap years ahead. This is especially true when retailers are trying to provide a seamless customer experience.

Google I/O

Beyond the preview of Android N that Google had released in March, I/O 16 had a few points of interest for the individual and the enterprise. New features for Android N were demonstrated including support for VR via its Daydream platform and the announcement of Android One. The Google I/O audience also received a preview of Android "L” that Google will use to make a stronger pitch for enterprise users by introducing "Profiles".
