MobiControl includes a tool called Package Studio which allows administrators to quickly and easily create packages of software/data that can be deployed to mobile devices. Package Studio includes a 'package creation wizard' that allows users to select files to be deployed, and the destination directories that the files are to be installed to, on mobile devices. The wizard includes options to automatically install or uninstall CAB files, as well as to automatically execute and process other types of files on the mobile device. In addition, users have the option of adding scripts that get automatically executed at various points during the installation or uninstallation of the package.

The above picture shows an open package project in Package Studio. The blue icons in the left pane show the files in the package. The gold icons at the bottom of the left pane, show scripts that have been added to the project. The window on the right, shows information about a CAB file that the package will be installing onto mobile devices. When Package Studio builds the project, it will compress all of the files included in the project as well as the installation rules and options into a single deployable package file (file extension used is .pcg).
