MobiControl provides organizations with a complete set of tools to centrally manage
and control their mobile field force. MobiControl provides the following core services:
MobiControl Manager
Rule Based Automated Management - Create rules to automatically provision mobile devices with software/data
as needed, as well as to automatically add and configure new devices.
Remote Helpdesk/Troubleshooting Tools - Includes a full set of tools to monitor, support,
diagnose problems and correct problems on remote mobile devices. These tools include: Real-Time Remote Control,
Remote File Explorer, Remote Registry Editor, Remote Scripting, Remote DOS Box, Remote Task Manager,
Remote Resource Management, Remote Screen Capture, Remote Video Recording, Remote Printing and more.
Reporting and Inventory - Includes a full set of graphical tools to view the status
of the system, including reporting tools, and real-time activity logs.
Users can view information about specific devices (e.g. software
installed, OS version, IP address, update schedule, and more), or any
other aspect of the system. A full set of canned reports is included with
the product that provides a complete picture of operation of the
system. New reports can be added to the system as needed, or existing
reports can be customized.
Security - Centrally manage administrator and user passwords that restrict access to the device. Utilize a
lockdown menu to restrict the applications that a user of the device can utilize.
File Synchronization
- Create rules to automate the collection of files from devices and the dissemination of files to devices.
Data Recovery - Automatic recovery of data/software on mobile devices after a battery failure or hard reset.
Mission Critical Scalable Operation - MobiControl Deployment Servers are fully scalable, as well
as administrators can configure multiple servers to distribute load for
large deployments. The MobiControl fault Tolerant architecture
automatically distributes load amongst available servers.
