The Training and Development Manager plan, direct, or coordinate the training and development activities and staff of an organization. The primary purpose of this position is to enhance organizational capability and performance through flawlessly executing global training and development initiatives. The leader in this role will support corporate, functional and business unit performance and development objectives. This role partners with global HR and their leaders to design and implement individual and team developmental needs. Overall scope includes design, management, and facilitation of global training and development programs for individual contributors, frontline leaders, and middle managers.
The preferred candidate will possess an advanced degree in Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, or HR with five to seven years of experience creating and implementing talent management processes, programs, and metrics for medium to large companies; preferably in the IT industry. A prior role in Human Resources, Organization Development, Training and Development or Human Resources Research is required.
